Valve Shrouding and rings?
Can someone please explain what valve shrouding is and why a larger bore has less of this?
Also, what are file fit rings and why are they better than oem rings?
Gas ports? Are these in the rings or the block? How does this work?
Sorry i was reading the Tech Talk Articles of Morrison in National Dragster and learn a lot but have a lot of questions...

Think of the location of the valves and their proximity to the cylinder wall.
Why would a larger bore help air flow around the valves?

big, or too tight as the engine warms up?

If there is high combustion pressure above the piston and holes venting to
the rear of the rings, what will happen?
