Fast 90 Intake porting..
this stuff will go on for ever. my car has a 370 iron motor, PP heads, BIG cam, runs on pump gas. i have 3.89 gears with 27" street & race tires. even with the huge *** cam i can pull a hill @ 55mph in 6th gear (bogging it and gaining speed up hill). thats plenty of low end torque for me. the only time i have to downshift is when i slow down and the car bucks (cam).
now carry on with the intake discussion

Hell, my converter flashes to about 6000.. anything that happens before that really doesn't matter LOL.
Well I pulled the upper bit off mine tonight. Seems most work would be done near the ports as thats where the middle and lower bits join. Also a few sharp edges etc there.
Almost no point pulling the middle section out, though where the plenium roof rolls over into the runner floor, the roof has a hard edge right where it becomes the runner floor. Other than that there is some flash and joins to blend. Most of it is pretty smooth anyway. Hopefully the orange rubber seal still works ok when I put it back together.
I was planning on just clearing up the flash for now and blending the joins near the port, maybe taking the sharp edges off the restriction bit where the mid section joins the lower. But nothing serious for now. Hoping to get it done over the next week or so.
If you guys find any significant gains then I might go looking to cut something more up.

Decided to fill the gaps between the mid and lower sections in with some resin to make the port area as smooth as the rest of the runner.
Sanding action tomorrow to smooth it back, then assembly time.
Whats everyone else done?

Just FYI. I took a buddies 90/90 off his 408 and did some porting. picked up considerable amount. I will get the graphs soon. I also did the same to mine after it was tuned. I should have a few more ponies as well.

I'll have results by the weekend. We have a Mamo ported intake, a Intake that I ported, a Futral ported intake, a stock intake, a intake Swanner ported, and one that Lethal ported. I'll Do the tuning on each if needed so we can compare apples to apples.
