Oil pressure in head
On a boosted engine. We are trying to limite the oil pressure to the head. Right now we have to much oil pressure in the head. Can someone with a boosted engine please help here. This is on a Ecotech motor with 45psi of boost. i know i am not giving much info here, but please help me with any info if you can. We were told that we need a oil pressure regulator. How does that work and where do you install it.

You didn't mention what kind of system you have??
I only know about Chevy stuff, but on a dry sump the regulator is built in,
we have a bolt that controls max pressure, you can't miss it.
Which is the same for any kind of motor.
If you're still using internal stuff, I have no idea.

Yes, if it's the stock internal oiling, then you'll need to know the oil routing.
If you can install a restrictor in the oil passage to the ohc stuff, without reducing the flow to the mains, then you can probably do it this way.
If it's going to restrict the mains, then you'll have to modify the oiling system so the top end and the bottom end are fed separately, or so the bottom is fed first.

I assume you are getting o much oil in the cylinder head ??? you can run restricted tip pushrods without to much drama. It will allow your to not open the motor or go to deep to correct the issue If i am reading this correctly.
