Default How are you guys setting up your timing pointer

I'm using an ATI superdamper with the timing marks already on the outside of the damper. What is the best way to locate the damper to get an accurate position when #1 is @ TDC and your damper is basically @ 0 degrees? Is it easier to just use one of the stick on strips?

Use a degree wheel TDC the motor and Use a Sticker. It doesn't hurt though to make a permanant groove or deep physical mark
