active fuel managment anyone got any info on this? the tbss doesnt have it but the trucks do?...doesnt make any sense..im assuming (on the basis of similarities in mass production) that the heads in the trailblazer's are already compatible and all you would have to do is change the computer. anyone got any ideas?

I believe the DoD (displacement on demand) engines have added mechanics and sensors in the lifter valley on generation IV and newer engines. Thus, you would need to insert these devices in order for it to work.
My 2006 GTO has an E40 computer with the settings for DoD. I can enable them, but it would not do any good as the LS2 engine block does not have the ancillary hardware. I believe there are also settings for alternative fuels, so changing your computer might be a necessary step.
