this is more along the lines of what i was/am talking about

steve....no no added fuel/oil its a spec oil/fuel class where you have to run a 8:1 mixture

i couldnt read the whole thing but it looks like a higher voltage coil. higher voltage could mean hotter spark and better flame travel. and of course hotter spark = hotter combustion which forces the piston down harder making more power...i would go into more detail but im posting from my phone lol...hit me up if u have questions

You want higher voltage to jump a bigger gap. A larger gap does help towards a complete burn.

Also, more ampereage or a longer duration spark will help.

Alot of people will say the MSD coils suck for our cars. Now, after reading this thread I realise why they act as they do.

If you ask me more amerage is more important than voltage. You want min gap you can get away with to run a colder heatstrap.
