Default Who makes this lifter

I found a set of these lifters and they didn't have a name or anything on them. Didn't know who make them and if they are good or junk. Any helpful comments are welcome.

Those lifters look to be the early-style ('97-'98) OEM LS1 lifters

Yes, the early lifters are distinguishable by the open-roller design, and the wire lock in the pushrod cup is a feature found mainly in the OEM (Eaton) lifters - aftermarket lifters will generally feature beefier locks such as c-clips, as well as extended aligning flats where they're inserted into the lifter trays to allow for smaller base-circle cams and larger lobe lifts.

The reason that I am asking is that a friend of mine got a motor built and the guy put them in there and told him that they were CTS-VR lifters. I know that they were not those but didn't know what type they really were. Do you know that they are lifters from an early LS for a fact? Is there any type of marking or number or something that they would have so we could know for a fact?

Those are not CTS-V Racing lifters. Those are the just like the stock lifters that came in my '03 Z06.

Here are a few pictures posted by SDPC, the lifters on the left side are stock LSx lifters (LS7) and the lifters on the right are CTS-V racing lifters.
