Default spinning a bearing in an ls1??

i have a few friends talk about after driving there ls1 (500+ miles at one time) they will spin a bearing. i am not positive what type of bearing used in stock ls1's, if they are "p" serries or what. the only thing i can think of (if this is a common thing to happen) is that they dont get enough oil to the mains witch resaults in not getting oil to the rods... also resaulting in heat expantion. Any one know or heard anyhting about this?
thanks, Jake

WTF? How in the world are they coming up with these little nuggets of wisdom?

I've personally driven my own car 1100 miles all in one day (about 16 hours straight if I remember right), and never had an issue all 4 times I did it. Time to get some new friends...

I BEAT my 02 SS for 3 summers with 150HP of NX averaging 2-3 bottles a week. I finally spun a bearing at the last race of the year with 200HP pill, (pier pressure or what). I already have the crank, rods, and pistons for a 382. I've never heard of an LS1 spinning a bearing without provocation. Maybe a freak accident or someone isn't telling the whole truth, lol.
