2000 z28 idol to fast help I've only had car 3 weeks and bought it with this problem of idol speed thinking it wasn't a big deal. Sense then I've been to 5 places tring to get fixed. NO CODES I'VE looked at cables,curis control,changed tbs 3 times ,idol step motor 2 times,sea foamed 2 times,checked coolant senor,and one of the places i took it to was dealer they replaced again alot of the above and hooked up to a snap-on machine to clean everything again no LUCK. Now this is how car acts .Idol speed park or net 900-1000 rpms put car in gear and just get it rolling and car takes off goes up to around 1400rpms push it up to net while rolling it goes up to 1800-2000 rpms until car come to a complete stop after about 1-2 second idol speed comes down slowly to around 900-1000 rpms.
ps one shop told me idol should be 60000 something and mine was at 41000 and this should make it idol to slow??WHAT THIS
One time I cranked the car up and everthing worked correctly rev up fast and came back down fast. when I have the problem motor rpms come down slow 2-3 seconds
To me this has to be a electrical problem question maybe wiring harness or the computer
