Help with SCR and DCR with my setup?

I have a stock LS6 bottom end with 243 heads(unmilled) and using .040 cometic gaskets. Camshaft is MTI X1 .591/.571 lift and 230/227 duration at 50 and from what I understand it's XER lobes? Thanks again.

From what I've read now it seems DCR might not even be that important, basically I'd like to have a general idea what my static compression ratio I'd have with my setup, surely someones ran unmilled 243's with .040 gaskets on an LS6 shortblock.

Would piston head volume be 0 with stock pistons? If so I'm coming up with a static compression of 11.029 which I'd say is pretty close to accurate?

If your pistons are flat at the top (crown), the answer is yes, the volume figure used in this calculator is zero. It's better to learn to fish than to be fed occasionally.

fyi that silv-o-lite calc is way off on DCR, its right on if you use the .006 numbers.

The calculator works with the IVC # at .006" lift. If you can manage to get that number from the manufacturer then you can accurately calculate your DCR.
