I agree thats why I never got into the camaro one I know there was diff mounting holes but I think it was made to stick out farther. I wanted one that just barely stuck out to add a little something to the front.

I'm sorry for the harshness but I really don't understand the ignorance of reading on this board sometimes.

How many times does it have to be posted that what you see is fully extended and that YOU CAN RECESS THE SPLITTER with the BUILT IN adjustability of the oblong holes?!?!

Here's the pics I posted (and directed everyone to repeatedly) on my site:

Full Extension:

Half Extension:

Totally Recessed:

I apologize if somehow I haven't made that clear but I think it is as clear as it gets. Anymore ability to recess means you don't see it anymore...

^^Oh, before we get back on the topic again, that point is not that dramatic in production pieces now...

Here's a couple preliminary photos. Unfortunately, there's only so much time in a day, and chasing two kids under 2 years of age is tiring. I'll finish installing it and take some better outside photos tomorrow.

Here is what 'oblong' looks like and what it does.

Now for the people that want it sticking out less, just trim off some more and make the hole a little deeper, and you can recess the splitter to where it is flush with the front bumper. That will require you to trim off some at the wheel wells since it will stick into the wheel wells about an inch or so.

$350 shipped for the Trans AM ones, or $325 for the Camaro's.

Alchemist,

It looks awesome ! That looks sick on the pewter car. I think you just made me want to get one of these for my silver WS6 LTx car. What setting do you have on the shot in the picture (looks like its 1/2 way recessed)?

6LiterEater,
Any word on a local guy for test fitting the 93/97 T/A's ?

Tell the wife it is an investment to save you from having to paint your bumper (protects from scratches)

Decide fast his may be one of 3. I might be out of the splitter business (still sell the other stuff) soon, long story but the reason I haven't tried to sell a lot and post a new GP, has to do with pricing and transportation...
