Default does GM warranty cover leather seats?

my 01 Silverado that has leather seats has a small rip in the bottom cushion from what (to me) looks like thin a$$ leather covering, not up to the challenge of a daily driver....

Anyone know anything about getting this repaired?

When I had my 00' GT I had the driver side leather replaced for cracking. They should take care of it, just don't let them off with the "normal wear" crap. If they give you that, just ask to speak to the service manager. Usually they are so busy they don't sweat the little stuff and will take care of it. Good luck.

They do warranty the leather. My friend had a rip in his '98 Z28 leather, and they reupholstered the entire seat under warranty.

Yes, as long as it is ripped they will replace it. <img src="gr_stretch.gif" border="0">
