I want to know if I can just clear coat the calipers without painting them. I basically poilished them after I grinded them dowm (to fit the 15" rim) and I don't want to paint them, just protect them. Can I just put a couple of layers of clear coat?

I think I've read that some people have done that.

Yes you can. Just to be safe make sure you pick up a can of the hi-temp clearcoat. <img src="gr_stretch.gif" border="0">
