To each their own, but I think it looks weird, but I thought the '98 headlights looked weird when I first saw them too.

Are you sure that what you see isn't the reflection of the dash because of the camera flash?
We need another pic from say the steering wheel towards the passenger seat.
<strong>There is a bolt under the ashtray that helps hold the center console down. What did you do about that? If you left it out I would imagine that you get some rattles from the center console.

Nope, I don't have one bolt in my console (pull it out every time I go to the track) and it doesn't rattle at all.
The way I made mine totaly smooth was to mold a ton of bondo up real high and slowly sand down leaving a caot across the whole top of the console. That way it looks flush and doesnt show where the holes were. It took me a few tries to get it right.
To everyone who liked this mod...
Im building a page describing step by step how it was done with a bunch of in progress pics. I reall am satisfied with how mine turned out and think it looks a lot cleaner with out the worthless cupholder and ashtray.
I have some interior pics on my site at
www.ws6cottformula.cz28.com
feel free rto check them out.
Anyway, all you can see is a little hump in the middle. You can't see where the cupholder or ashtray were at all!
