Default SLP grille ?'s

I am looking to get this grille any problems? How does it stand up to everyday driving? How do you put the mesh behind the holes?

I've seen them on a few cars, they look really good, all you got to do to take care of it is to clean it and not hit anything...

Also for the mesh I assume you would put it on the back side, maybe with glue, I don't think it would look that good on the SLP one...the wings west grill would look better with the mesh combo...

I have a friend that has this grill on his ’00 Z28. It’s been on since summer and it’s held up fine for daily driving. He did not put any mesh in it though. I will say, either of the two (WW or SLP) look way better than the stock one does.

When we installed it, we used about twice as much adhesive as SLP showed using in their instructions. We wanted to make sure it would stick The hardest part of the install was getting the old grill off...

It doesn't have clips to hold it in place?

Nope. SLP supplies adhesive to stick it to the stock grill location. Don’t worry though, the adhesive is very strong. My friends car is driven in rain, snow, you name it, and his has been holding on fine for about 6 months now...

Josh,
I have that grille on my car. It has been on for a little over two years now and beat on regularly on I 45. I like it because it is different.
