i just got mine yesterday.... i have to say the 2008 calendar was made 100% better... the pictures were way clearer, the shots came out very nice but the print wasn't good... i guess you guys went cheap this year??? looks like it was a home made!!

Really??? I'm surprised to hear you say that. Unfortunately the picture quality depends on what we receive from the person taking the picture. If the resolution of the shot is lower, then what is printed won't be as clear. However, I don't think any of the shots were bad otherwise, we would have made them redo it. As far as the print, yes... we did make a few mistakes there. I fell way behind after the Hurricane hit us. I was rushing to get the calendar out as soon as I could and didn't do near the amount of checks I did in the previous years. We used a different background and program to put the bottom portions together. Unfortunately, it didn't work as well as I had hoped. Although, the paper quality of the calendar is much better than last year. Other than the written portion, I can't see any part of the calendar that was worse.

The first year was the only time it was planned for me to be in the calendar. The calendar was actually formed because I was asked to be in another and someone approached me about making one for this site instead. The first year was a huge success so I continued making them. The second year was a last minute thing because we couldn't find a model and didn't want to pay someone else. The next year the vehicle and the model backed out so we used what we had. I am not the only one that makes the decisions regarding this calendar. I said the second year that I didn't think it would be good to continue being in every calendar.... others disagreed. Then we started getting requests for certain people (including myself). We got the same request this year but I decided against it. So, to answer your question... it does get put up to a vote between a group of people and if we find someone better, we use them instead. We do the best we can with what we are given. We sell out every year and we don't see many complaints. We must be doing something right...

No one's complaining doll, i was just trying to figure out if it was up to a site wide vote, or if just you decided on the pics yourself, since you stated "you weren't in it this year"...sounding like as if you were ALWAYS in them.
I just wondered if you were being impartial or because it was "your" calendar, you always popped up in it.

I haven't checked all of the pages, but any GTO love in the 09 calendar?
I've had the pleasure of being in the calendar the past two years (my cars that is, I don't think anyone wants to see me skimpily dressed in front of anything
) and while I am not in the calendar this year I will still be purchasing one. The LS1Tech calendar is the only calendar I buy yearly. Thanks for all the hard work Tiffany and the rest of the crew that put the calendar together.
