I think the stock rims are too thin, I'm not sure though

315's look funny on 17x9's, I have seen that. I would put them on 17x9.5's or bigger.

Thanks for the info. I was thinking about the 315's but I don't want to invest in any wheels right now so I will go with 275's. I am going to go to 4.10 gears very shortly so I will definately do the tires then to.

I'm pretty sure you can go 285/40/17... I know a guy who has... they don't look weird or anything, but is it worth the extra money for that extra little bit? I don't think so. 285 is an oddball size and you pay a premium just becuase it's an uncommon size.

I would stick with the 275's.....save money and they perform just as good
