My car isn't really lowered, its got the hose mod in the back and the QA1's are set so it has a nice rake...

Just like I posted a month ago in one of the other threads just like this one:

  1. Keep it clean. Not just clean. CLEAN. A shiney car always turns heads. When your paint looks like it's a mile deep, you've got it right.
  2. Stance. The best description I've ever heard about a stock ride height car is, "It looks like a scared cat." Lower it, and for God's sake, get an alignment and an adjustable panhard bar.
  3. Wheels. The stock snowflakes are awful, and the 5-spokes before them were ok, but 16" wheels are a no-no (unless they're your track wheels). And don't be afraid to step outside the box. Yes, TT2s look good, but they might as well be OEM, with as many people that have them. 17x11" for show, 17x9.5" for go. 18x9/18x10 also looks good. Staggered wheels look better on Corvettes than F-body, generally speaking. 19's are iffy (though I've seen some that look good) and 20's should be reserved for SUVs.

Everything else (tint, grille, clear corners, the overdone Berger panel) is incidental eye candy.

Doesn't take a lot to stand out, just takes taste. Mike's car (sommer86) has quickly become one of my favorites with just some powdercoat, paint, splitter and cme:

Thanks man, i'm flattered!...but it's definitely the splitter and the CME that set it off...AND apart!

fuel door on a silver car maybe but personally I wouldn't put one on my car. Berger panel kicks *** on any color and to you T/A guys the CETA mod looks killer. But what ever you like do it don't mod your car for me to like mod it for you to like.

i think we have a good list goin on here. the fuel door isn't for me, but it could look good on some cars.

i forget who posted it up earlier, but i agree that it's a "business" look.

if my car would ever get here (it's being shipped) i would begin cleanin on it. i'll have pics up eventually. if it ever gets here...
