Re: best way to remove/replace trans am emblem on door Easy way of doin it, use a blowdryer/heat gun, and heat it up a lil bit, then run a lil bit of dental floss behind the emblem. Then take some kinda of cleaning solution, like speedy solv, prep solv or something like that and clean the area off, and re-install.

Re: best way to remove/replace trans am emblem on door Best solvent I have found for this type work is good old mineral spirits, also sold as paint thinner. I keep a can on my bench and use it all the time.
