in all seriousness, make a claim to your insrance company saying that the scratches are obsturcting your view. We have windshield replace coverage on our cars and it doesnt mess with our detuctable or anything if we need a windwhield replaced.

Lost cause. When I got my car it had a million tiny little scratches which made it near impossible to see out at night with a lot of glare, it was scary. Looked like he used the wipers to remove sand or something. I had to buy a new windshield. I suggest safelite, $200 for some really excellent work.

You can remove some light scratches in glass. There are a number of glass polishing products and kits available for this purpose. I use my PC with a specific pad for glass polishing.

You don't remove scratches, you level the surface around it... Pretty much you need to heat it to 1400°-1700° to melt the glass around the scratch, leveling the surface, removing the scratch...

West Side homie.

You can abraid the surface surrounding the scratch with cerrum oxide. It does work, and you don't have to heat it up to those ridiculous temps as stated, you can remove them by hand infact.

Damn I was hoping to hear some good, easy and cheap fix for this.. guess it's a new windshield.

The scratches in mine are there from the P.O., however the wipers seem to be in good shape.. there are like 5-6 long (very light however) scratches that follow the path of the driver side wiper.. I don't get how they could be there though unless if the wipers were bad at the time and then replaced afterwords..

Mine aren't window scratches but streaks on the exterior of the side windows. Anyone have experience with some of the polishses I've seen for windows?
