Default Need INFO on Corbeau Seats---->HELP!!!

Okay,I'm a BIG guy 6ft 2in tall and I'm 325lbs.
Now I race my car so,I dont wanna sit HIGH in the seat.My helmet hits the T-tops if the seats too high.I wanna use Corbeau's seat brackets too.
I saw them and they r light and very nice.

So what seat would u Corbeau owners reccommend for a guy my size? Forza II of is that too small.Baja SS in a wide version looks good,Light?

Any others u can think of that r fairly light.
Under 25lbs.I wanna order them this week

Listen getting a new seat is a waste. At most you will save 15#, at the cost of at least $350 and major loss of comfort. Just keep the stock seat and go on a diet!

LMAO. I say if you have a TA, keep the seats. If you have a Camaro, get some Sparcos. They are very nice.

WS6Scott is a sales rep for Corbeau now. Shoot him an e-mail <img src="gr_stretch.gif" border="0">

From what I hear and see....they look really good, light weight, and are very comfortable. I'll be getting some soon <img src="gr_stretch.gif" border="0">

JS:

I would seriously consider going with Momo's or Sparcos.

Corbeaus don't have the same quality of the other seats and their fabric stains and wears too easily. Plus they aren't as comfortable.

You seem to only buy quality stuff for your car, so don't stop now. Invest in a seat that will be comfortable and fit you properly.

JS, have you considered the bare-bones cloth seats from Pontiac for your T/A? I have Jegs race seats with corbeau brackets and the weigh 23 pounds a piece. Also, they do make the seat sit a good bit higher (1.5 inches?). The plain ole cloth seats (no power or any of that stuff) for a camaro weigh 29 pounds, and are a hell of alot more comfortable than my jegs seats. My aftermarket seat recomendation are the GM bottom of the line seats <img src="gr_stretch.gif" border="0">

good luck

We recently installed a set of targa rs's in a mustang and the driver( who was a large guy) loves the fit. I would reccomend these. They look great, are more for dailey drivn applications so they are a bit more durable than a show seat such as the Carreras.

I run the carreras and it seems that the seat actually gave me more head clearance when using the proper brackets.

The material of the Corbeaus is plenty durable unless you are a slob or treat your seats poorly. Yes they do stain if you get them in red or yellow or blue but then again.... what light color seats wont?? Get them in black or grey and your good to go. Mine are red and I have gotton all kinds of stains(grease and what not from working on the car) on them and a little warm water and soap usually gets out 95% of the stain. They still look like new.

check the link in my sig to my personal page which has tons of pics of my interior.

Corbeau info including diagrams and dimensions of each seat can be found on my business site

email me for any other questions you might have.. <img src="graemlins/gr_cheers.gif" border="0" alt="[cheers]" />
