Can we get some pics of the install so we can know where to put the pieces of tape exactly, I read your write up but some of it was confusing to me lol i am trying to figure it out though.

i actually didnt do a pic by pic install. but i have a panel that hasnt been cut. ill see if i can mock up something to help you. ill try to do it soon no promise works got me tied down

how does it hold up at the car wash? between washing it and rain any leaks?

ive sparyed dead on with a pressure washer and no problems.
i tried my best to seal off with the tape...if it does leak then it just comes out on top of the bumper there is nothing to hold the water in. and the light is a sealed neon bar so no problems with water

that will take you straight to the light im using

you want a 20" it will be a little short but thats where the privacy window tint helps dispers the light

ok well i just started mine this morning and i figured i would and some pics to help the thread...thank u very much for this thread by the way.....

first off i would like to say that there is a ton of dust when doing this.. and just take your time!!! thats the key

these pics are right when i finished...i have not sanded them down yet i will post pics of that later...


and here is the eniter word..

im about to go take a final and will finish this up later and will be posting pics throughout the project...

multipurpose spiral bit...good for high rev dremel or rotozip

and yes alot of dust.....
and yes take your time....

Thank you.

I have a bit, and time. Now... to get something fun for in there.

I'm thinking about separating the lights and controlling each letter with it's own LED in a little enclosure behind frosted plastic/diffuser/what have you.

that would be really cool
but in my own opinion that seem to be alot of work to end up with the same results i have with one bar.... unless my mind is not picturing what your mind is ... in which case i would enjoy an elaboration of your idea..... im always looking to upgrade
