hey gabe, how do you like those tires? i know they are pretty new, and you have had limited time driving on them- just wondering what you think of them.

The tires are cool so far. The car felt a little stiffer when I was driving to the World of Wheels and having the SS lowered didn't help either. I'm familiar though with that kind of ride because of the 19s I had on my 328i. I've heard so many good things about the S03s. They are supposed to be the best. You can look at them at www.tirerack.com, they come in many sizes. Peace

Thanks guys, I really do appreciate it. I will have to get bigger rotors next. I'm looking at the Baer Eradispeed rotors. Many things are on my list. We'll have to see if the funds are there to do such. <img src="gr_stretch.gif" border="0">

I was going to do 305/25 19s on the back and 275/30 on the front BUT they do not make a matching tread patern in those sizes the fronts would be different than the back. Also the 305/25 is about .75" SHORTER overall diameter than the 275/30. Messed up my plans. I think I am going to go with a 295/35 (25.9"tall) and 275/30 (25.7" tall).
Can someone please email me pics of this car so I can get an idea of what it is going to look like or if I should go with the 19 in front and 20s in the back like I had on my T/A and Vette.

I believe the Pirelli PZero System Asimmetrico has the size 305/25zr19. I say go 245/35zr19 in the front and 305/25zr19 in the rear. You really don't need the tire to be wide in the front. The RUF 911 Turbo has that same setup but 245/30 in the front. If you have the money for these tires I say do it man. Nobody else will, and your car will look phat as heck. I would have done it if they made the GT3 in a 19x11 in a positive offset. What wheels were you planning on going with? A 19x8.5 in the front and a 19x11 through 12 in the back should be awesome. Keep me in touch. Peace

I guess I should have been a little more specific. Currently the only company that makes the 305/25 19 is Pirelli.Their speed ratings are different between the 305 and some of the other sizes but the 305/25YR19 is still going to be a shorter tire than anything else Pirelli makes in a 19". The closest size would be a 225/35ZR19 that is going to be .3" taller than the 305. I think the 225 would be a little to narrow for my taste. And then the different speed ratings come into play. Plus the fact that the 305 is going to be .6" shorter than stock.
Now if I could stuff the 335/25YR19 in the wheel well without hacking the car too much I would go that route and then I could find a tire for the front that was the same over all diameter or slightly shorter. And the 335 is the same o.a.d as stock.
I am going to be running HRE 545s

Pirelli does make a 245/35zr19(25.9)tire in the PZero Asimmetrico. Don't you think that would work well with the 335/25zr19(25.6)? I would also recommend the BRIDGESTONE POTENZA S03s. They make a 245/35zr19(25.7) and a 285/30zr19(25.7). That would be a good route to go.

I am looking into the 335 but nobody seems to know if I will be able to get it to fit without mini tubbing the car.
If I have to go with a 285 then I am just going to run 20s on the back like I did with my T/A and Vette.
I would also like some pics of this NBM SS w/19s
