Default How many coats when painting calipers?

I am thinking maybe 4 coats should suffice, and then a couple coats of clear coat. Anybody has good results using this many? TIA

Amount of coats depends on how thick you spray. Better to go with lots of light coats than a couple of heavy ones.

I used a small brush with some paint in the can lid and hand painted some of the harder to reach nooks and crannies first. Then sprayed.

Good results. Used no Clear Coat. I clear coated an intake manifold once and it turned gold. Just keep the calipers clean and waxed.
