Everyone should post some pics up of their mccord overlays. I want to get some but have no idea what to get i was thinking either red, silver, white, or checkered.

the only question I have is will the blue leds work with this? reason i ask is because on a stock ta bezel blue leds dont show
They sure will The stock overlay has a red tint so the stock yellow bulbs look red, blue leds look purple.

With McNord's overlays whatever color bulb you use is the color you get

That was the second reason I went with these. I had been wanting to put blue led in my TA for while now. I did not like the look of the stock Camaro gauge face and all of the aftermarket ones for the TA had a glow effect or looked like crap. I knew the first time I saw these that I had to have one.

Got mine in on Monday...PURPLE They look great. They are about a shade lighter than the picture, but they look fantastic!
Hopefully, we'll work on getting them installed this weekend. Will post pics when it's done.

Yup. Anything else is just a sticker that goes over your factory one... These are full replacements. Installation (needles included) takes under 30 minutes...

I am going to try to install tomorrow. Its dark when leave for work and dark when I get home. I have a carport but its been too cold and wet outside, I live on a river and the wind has not helped the last few days either. I want to take my time and do it right. I should have it installed tomorrow and will post pics as soon as I am done. I will follow with some more pics tomorrow night with the lights on.

The NR gauges have a bit smoother feel where the guage faces are, whereas the McNord ones are the same texture for the whole gauge, so I think the light reflecting off the NR set isnt quite as muddled as the McNord faces, but they still look really great.

My one suggestion is that if youre planning on using them with a TA Bezel, you might want to see if McNord can remove the shadow effect for you. With the bezel in place, the shadows are only visible in a few places, and so it looks more like the face is dirty, or has a smudge of grease on it, as opposed to it looking like a shadow. With the Bezel off, they look really nice with the shadow as it gives them a much more dynamic 3D look.

Im tempted to get in on the next GP and have a few more things done, and just sell my first one as is. But Ill have to see how that goes. But again, big thanks to McNord and to Mark for making this happen. Definitely a big asset for the community. Cheers!
I took your advise on the shadow effect.. I will be using a TA bezel so I asked if he could remove the shadow effect! Thanks for the heads up!
