Default looking for plastic that matches interior

i ordered a scanmaster a couple days ago and would like to permanently install it. since i have a TA though, im at a bit of a disadvantage. my idea is to install is where the TCS button and cig. lighter is at. i *dont* have TCS though, i have the cubby hole.

i plan on cutting that section out of the console, and making a new mount plate for the scanmaster. hope that makes sense

the problem is i would like to find a piece of hard (flat) plastic similiar in color and texture to that of my original interior.

any suggestions?

I thought of doing it like this, before I found this page. Glad to see it actually works

yeah i considered that install. but, id like something a little different. IMO, my install would look cleaner and more factory. only problem with mine is it will be hard to focus on the road while staring down at the unit.

plastic ideas? anyone?
