can you expand the inlet of corsa clone tips? from 2.25 to 2.5 inches?

Would you guys actually do this if you could get the 2.25 inch tips for a good price?

I got my clones off Ebay for about $90 shipped. I'm guessing it's not a steal but still a decent price considering how pricey the originals are. I'm sure the inlet neck can be expanded to receive a 2.5" pipe but the pipe will have to be welded on because by then the bolt-on clamp on the inlet itself will be completely out of whack.

Don't know what kind these are (came with the car when I bought it) but I want some Borla tips.

I know the car is filthy but it's to damn cold to wash it.

Alright thanks for the reply. I was going to weld the tips no matter what.

So that's cool. Thanks.

Alright, so I'm looking at some polished Corsa clones for my Z on Ebay.

These for example...

Some of the chromed ones I've seen seem a bit too shiny for my taste.

My first post.

so i just bought a rumbler cb, and i can't decide what tips to get

i really want the long magnaflow 3.5" but i'm pretty sure the rumbler doesn't hang down low enough to allow that tip to come straight out. also idk wether to get the 18" or the 22"

option #2 are these:
http://www.summitracing.com/parts/GIB-500393/
the thought being the 3" diameter will fit under the rumbler better than a 3.5"

option #3 are the corsa clones, but i can't find them. and i hear they only come in 2.25" ID?

Anyone got some pics of a T/A with the single, 4 inch tips from Fast Toys?

http://fasttoys.net/shop/product_inf...oducts_id=1393

Im going from Magnaflow to Spintech this next week and my Magnaflow dual/dual tips won't fit because they are 2.5 inlets.

I have oval exhaust tips from Pypes Performance Exhaust. The dimensions are 6”L x 3”W and are polished stainless tips (EVT29).

http://www.pypesexhaust.com/tips.html The car came with dual/twin tips, but I prefer the ovals on the T/A's.[/quote]

eBay - 'eworldsales1' - I actually purchased the 4in but he sent the 3.5s by mistake... I compared them with a buddy's 4's and decided to keep 'em. Frankly, I thought the 4in clones looked almost clown-ish but the 3.5s fit just right
