Default Dynamat

What's the verdict on this stuff? Is it worth it? I want to cut down on some of the road noise, so I'm thinking about covering the rear (like they did in install on the project trans am site.)

http://www.projecttransam.com/projects10.htm

Anyone with first hand experience?

Thanks

It works great for killing road noise, but the stuff is somewhat heavy and will add weight to the car. I used to install that stuff when I was into car stereos.

I've found that certain tires cause more road noise than others....

If you could throw in an easily removable piece you could take it out at the track <img src="gr_stretch.gif" border="0">

go to www.b-quiet.com I used their brown bread product very nice. much much cheaper than dynamat extreme as just as good. I used about 70sq feet. Road noise is a lot less, and my LM does not resonate anymore!!! Stereo hits louder too, well worth the small weight gain of less than 20lbs.

what is a loss of 1/8 of a tenth when you can improve your ride quality that much? If you need that, just take out some other heavy object, spare, backseet, etc.
