I used to be a stereo installer. Wires are ugly! Colored tubing on wires is even more oogly!

It just looks cheap, and ricers love it.

I certainly don't like it. When I see the colored tubing, it looks like someone puked colored spaghetti all over the engine.

I had red loom and took some out and replaced it with black. I have black loom in the middle of the engine bay and red on the out egdes so that it blends in with the red paint.

Save the fancy colors for your condoms.
Chicks really dig'um wrapped in neon.

And while we are at stop sticking extra badging all over the engine compartment do we really need to know its a SS six times a glance.

I vote no when you use a lot.

I am using 3-4 small pieces of black right now.

I say no. It's better to hide wire, not draw attention to it.

Sorry T, I just now took a look at you car I think more than one SS is a bit much. If you like them thats the main thing. I'm sure you get alot of positive feedback at shows your car is cool.

It's kinda funny you thought I was talk'n about you but is was just a general comment.

Listen to the "less is more" statements from people. There is just too much "SS" stuff going on. I agree with the "SS" on the lid and maybe the FRC's but that is it. Too much is a very bad thing.

I have red tubing in my engine. After about a week I realized the mistake I hade made. Unfortunatley I had thrown away what I had taken off. IMO it doesnt look at bad as some of you make it seem. Take a look in the sig if you want. I removed a lot of it since I took those pictures. The red on orange isn't the best. I plan on doing the !Wire mod soon and putting black tubing on the sides, leaving the red tubing on the engine.

Thats funny. Alot of local guys do like my car, though some think i've gone over board with the SS's and I can see thier point. I do like my engine bay though, need to update the photos on the web. I've taken alot of red loom out and replaced it with black. That really seem to draw more attention to the FRC's and lid! Thanks
