A little peek at the progress from today....





The SOM fuel rail is coming off and being stripped and polished....so before anyone says it, I know its gayer that a bag of dicks!

This might be the most random question you've ever gotten, but what kind of gaskets do you use for your valve covers? This car and your Formula's are both blue.

Also, it looks gayer than a bag of dicks

Fel-Pros...they were the only thing in stock when I put them on the orange car and I actually liked them blue on the white car (the matched the blue "Firehawk" decals.) I am glad you mentioned it...since I have the coil packs off I will pick up some GM ones Monday and swap them out!!!

I like it alot, really pulls the whole chrome in the engine bay theme together.

Yeah, they looked awesome on the 'Hawk...they looked like a pinstripe on the white valve covers. Unfortunately they look a little out of place here lol. Thanks for letting me know!

i thought all replacement gaskets were blue lol all of mine are

I dont know...maybe so? I will see Monday. Felpro traditionaly use to be orange....that would be SOOOOO cool if I could find some that color!

Well I am making progress....I finaly got through with polishing the fuel rail! It looks WAY better than it did painted!

r u going to leave them polished or get them chromed? or isnt there any difference compared to ur intake?
