What are you trying to do..get rid of extra stuff?

Here is mine, I removed the non-essential stuff, AC Delete, got rid of some Wiring, and I have a custom Intake for my setup..

And here it is after the Battery Relocation. I don't have full Engine Bay pics of this yet. Also it's a T56 Car now, so the Trans Dip Stick won't be there..

theres tons of these threads if ya do a search...but heres what i have.

when the original owner had the car before i got it....

and now...

since then, ive painted the back of my headlights, consolidated some wires togethers, got rid of my MAF for a SD tune, and also done the whistler headlight mod.

battery relocated to trunk, fuse boxes moved where AIR pump was, covers made from lexan. everything else is pretty much straight forward. all nuts/bolts/washers are stainless, all wiring is relocated that could be, all holes filled and shaved, and everything repainted obviously. also made the coil relocation kit myself, and did all the work in my garage at home including the paint.

The best plan is to always keep it simple - it's better to take away stuff than to add it.

!Wire Mod
!Hood Latch
!AIR
!EGR
!Washer Fluid
Painted bolts (cheap alternative to Specialized Stainless' bolt kit)
Painted Headlight Brackets - often overlooked in a Firebird
Painted Coil Packs

Likely some other things I'm forgetting...

Homemade. Some good thick sheet metal, some paint, and a ton of wet sanding. Got to make a new one though. Got lazy and didnt remove itwhen working on the car. Dropped a wrench on it and ruined it

Here's mine.

To answer the inevitable - I spray painted the intake on my back deck. Took a day counting the masking. 4 months/ 4K miles later it looks exactly the same.

Still need to finish the wire mod. Been lazy

Thanks. I took the pics in August right before the initial startup following my H/C swap. Wanted pics in case it blew up and ruined all the new paintwork! The radiator cap was off so I could add coolant and get air bubbles out of the system. Cap's back on now
