LED LS1 tail light project finally underway...

made a dumbass mistake. wired the white LEDs on the turn signal the same as the red ones and didnt realize the forward voltage was completely different between the two. had to tear all the LEDs off the turn signal and I redid them. its 44 LEDs per turn signal now. i got the 2nd brake light done also.
all im waiting for is more white LEDs so i can do the 2nd turn signal. today i also got the nite shades sanded off one of the tail lights so i still have to sand the other light and 3rd brake light.
but i tested the turn signal inside the blacked out housing in sunlight and it looked sick! didnt get a video because it was so damn cold out and snowing hard but i should be able to get one next monday when im off work again.

finished the right tail light today! still waiting on more white LEDs so i can finish the left turn signal. the only time it is hard to see is in very direct sunlight which i turned on the hazards and i could barely see the filament light either. ill get some pics and video later tonight i have some stuff i have to take care of.

if only they were lt1 tails.... speaking of which, hate to go off topic but what would be involved with swapping to lt1 tails? i would assume they bolt up except for the wiring harness? which of course, going LED would not be a problem

the right signal doesnt blink at all right now because it thinks the bulb is out. I already bought an EL12 electronic flasher from autozone today and im going to replace it with the stock thermal flasher tomorrow so that they blink like normal. it was blinking here cause i had the hazards on
