clear coating wheels
is it possible to clear coat my TT IIs. they look like they are going to suck to take care off because of the lack of clear coat. is there a place that can clear coat them...?

They're polished, so all you have to do is polish them up a bit every couple days.. I don't think you really want to clearcoat them, because it might start chipping or flaking off......

what do you use to polish them? i got some crazy water rain spots...i hope its not salt deposits <img src="gr_eek2.gif" border="0">

I claybar my rims a lot, keeps down on the brakedust, if you let it build up it becomes almost impossible to take off....I also zaino my rims.... <img src="graemlins/gr_devil.gif" border="0" alt="[devil]" />

Use the finest steel wool you can find, and some nevrdull!! <img src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" border="0"> It might get old after a while, but it's well worth it in the end!! <img src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" border="0">

Steel wool on polished aluminum? Wow even with OOOO that's not a very good idea! Get some Wenol, the blue tube, you use it with a soft cloth (go to walmart or somwhere and buy some white flannel) rub it on and then rub it back off. That will get everything nice and shiny again. If some of the spots or brakedust isn't wanting to come off with the blue, get a tube of the red (it's what you use to hand polish, the blue is for things that are already polished). Good luck.
