fuel rail covers

im in the process of buying some fuel rail covers but the seller on ebay is saying its extra for 4 studs. My question is what are these studs for, i have a 2000 WS6.

those are the wrong covers. they are off an ls2/ ls3 car. u need the ones off an ls1. so in short those covers wont work unless u buy ls2 valve covers etc.

FYI, I do the FRC thing all the time, so I know what I'm looking at. I agree with ls2bait above, as you may be looking at something that will require a lot more work than you may think.
If you are looking to buy the C5 covers, then you need to look at the 97-98 'two-slot' covers for a good starting point.
If b y chance the covers you are looking at are these covers, then the seller doesn't know what they are talking about.
