did some painting today Trans Am has been down a couple months now, so thought I would atleast do something to occupy myself. I painted my air lid and the lower box. FRC, I also painted the front plastic piece that fades to grey. anyway.. these are shitty camera phone pics. will post more later in the light

the colors are still the factory red on the fuel rail covers (in the pictures they just have the tape covering them). I know I should fill the corvette in and put trans am or something in that nature but im being lazy, not gonna lie. I will get pics when installed, thanks for the compliments.
it takes forever to fill those in and get it sanded down perfect! specialized stainless on here makes big stainless strips that cover the letterin that you can get something etched on if you dont want the corvette to be seen.

i dont think it looks bad. you have a corvete engine in your car, thats cool. now lotus's use celica engine blocks. if they had covers that said "celica" on them, that would look bad.

i have had the vette covers on the car for about 3 years now. never fails.. everytime i go to a show.. i get.. that has a corvette engine?? how did you get that in there.

took some more pics with a better camera
i some how totally mest up the driver side cover painting it what should i do to fix it? it has been drying since i painted it sunday. should i start over? or wet sand it with a fine sand paper and re spray it?

thanks a lot i really appreciate it. it was the slp lid so it had the white slp logo on it. i have one of those small slp emblems thats chrome i was thinking of putting on the lid. or getting a bird decal and putting it on the lid. what do you guys think?
