is he just going to paint the parts he has access to or will he be moving stuff around and taking stuff off?

He's gonna move what he can and spray "what the eye can see"...he's done the same to my other 2 cars he's painted before.

hmmm post up some pics when you get it done, i'd like to do this with my car. i don't think polish is going to cut it

just wondering how did you do the wire mod i have been trying to find out how but no luck!

it's pretty simple. drill a hole in front of your pcm, disconnect the wires, put them through the hole, reconnect them underneath and thats pretty much it.

I will, but not until FEB. (dang time)


lol...you could polish until your arm falls off and it'll only look clean...painting is definitely the way to go.

!Wire mod is gr8, makes a HUGE differance, takes some ***** to do, but well worth it.
I really like the PCM cover, I hope you don't mind, I'm going to pinch your idea and make something like that for mine. Keep up the good work.

I finally got tired of looking at this so unfinished so I took some satin black spray paint I had and touched up the strut tower area.

I'll get around to having the engine bay painted one day when I have time...lol

Wow, that came out really good! I didn't think that cover was gonna look that good not being flush in the front but after you painted it you don't really notice it. Do you have any rubbing from the hood hinges? I did the wire mod but have put off making a cover cuz I thought it would rub...
