I got my HID low beams (and fog lights) off of eBay about 2 years ago...no problems.

AND before people start bitchin', I have my headlights angles down a bit to reduce glare to cars in front of me...I have NEVER had anyone flash me with their lights.

No...these are not difficult to install. As long as you know how to at least strip wires and solder them, the installation is a snap. This is because you need to tap the LED halo into your car's wiring; I tapped into the fog lights. So when I turn on the fogs, the halos come on.

I thought 4300k was yellowish, 5000k was whitest and brightest, then 6000k was slightly less light and as touch of blue (that is what I have)

We aren't permitted to post ebay links... there are sponsors who carry kits that were mentioned here, the one actually responded with a set that he carries (fast toys).

3000K is yellow.

All cars with OEM hid lights are within 4100-4300K range because it's the Kelvin temperature with the maximum useable light output. Beyond 4300K you start to lose lumens and the color becomes more white and then bluish and on to purple.

This is correct. 5000K should have a bit more light output but 6000K is a good compromise.

the new kits are plug and play. be careful with some of the kits on ebay that have the "big ballasts" as they are the old versions. i got the new slim kit for $90 locally and it took 5 minutes to install

4100-4300 is the brightest OEM light to my knowledge. If your going through aftermarket HID kits, usually 3000K-6000K-8000K and then up by 2's is usually only offered. I've never seen 4000K HID kits. Not saying that they don't exist, i've just never seen them.

As far as installation goes, the ebay kits that I've used and recommended to many are 100% plug and play (unless you have a firebird, you need to crimp a connector onto 4 wires and thats it)

Default More info...

Don't buy the larger ballast as they are the old style and more prone to failure. Those are usually the really cheap ones you see on ebay. We only sell the smaller ballasts (which are about the dimensions of a credit card and 1/4 inch thick.

The kits are plug and play. No relays are included but you only need relays if your stock harness is not producing enough voltage to fire the HIDS. Generally GM vehicles don't need relays.

Bulbs #'s

98-02 Camaro High Beam: 9005
98-02 Camaro fog lights: 894
