Default HID fogs...

After reading the threads about the HID fogs I ordered up a set off Ebay. The hardest part was getting the old bulb out and the new bulb in. If you have big hands it's a tight fit. After that you need to make sure you slide on the plastic housing that clips to the in car foglight plug correctly. I reversed the red and black wires so the clip didn't line up correctly and snap tight. I reversed it and wrapped it with electrical tape. I wasn't able to figure out how to remove the wires and reattach them. They work great. I went with 6000K and they provide a good amount of light with a slight tinge of blue. Really good mod.

Maybe 98Ws6 will post some pics of where he mounted his ballasts. He told me to mount them under the top lip of the front vallance.

Luckily for me I have small hands so getting them in wasn't a problem. Just a heads up for everyone, if there's no way that you can get your hands in from the top of the engine bay, you can go under the car and take out the few push-pins/bolts and remove the plastic cover from the bottom.

Here you go! once again sorry for all the damn waterspots:

Just clean the area with alcohol, then use the double sided tape provided to stick them onto the surface. Mine have been there for almost half a year no problems, along with my lows system.

Thanks fbody. What he said^ . I got 880 HID kit from ebay, and an H7 kit from the same seller, then used conversion housings and spliced the kit in. I have a writeup if you haven't seen it.

Don't get dad new socks or a grill brush this year.
