Ha ha, yea...a mere 120hp V6 turned into a 350hp V8. It's definately come a LONG way. I'm hoping to be finished and bring the car home early next week

Well it's almost done. The body is completely back together, I just have some underside paneling to put back in, the airbox still has to be shot, there's a few bits of trash in the paint that have to be wetsanded and buffed out but other then that it's done. Oh yea, wheels as well. I ended up ordering a set of Nittos instead of keeping the Sumitomos I had on the wheels, they should be here and on by the weekend though. Hopefully I'll get a chance to get a couple good shots of it this weekend.
Lining up the hood:
I painted the top of the third brake light because I thought it'd look different and cool:
Antenna is gone:
Front bumper on:
Rear end finally finished with the new GM tail lights, THOSE FREAKERS WERE STUPID EXPENSIVE!
Out in an overcast day:
The car overall is INCREDIBLY white. It honestly hurts your eyes at first in direct sunlight...I LOVE IT!

This car just keeps getting better and better man congrats. Its good to see other younger folks like us building up muscle cars as its seems 90% of the younger crowd goes for imports. Myself im 21 and everyone i know is into imports so its great to see more people like myself at our age into the good stuff. I bought my formula cheap and basicly built it up to what it is now on my own but on a real budget with school taking majority of the mod money. Everything you have done to the car is awesome man and im slowly making my way there to getting it where your car stands today. Great work bro

I hear yah man, I'm 21 myself and this car started as a 95 V6 5 speed. It's come a long way since I bought it back in October of 2003. I'm happy with the direction it's going and can't wait to get it home and drive it. Fortunately enough though, most of my friends drive muscle cars (LTBlackBird, MoeTAWS6, and another friend of mine has a 500+ hp blown GT) so I'm luckily not surrounded by tools.
Well the bad news is that we torn the front end of the car back off. The paint on the fenders and front nose didn't match, so we decided to get it right before leaving it for good. So we took everything off and sanded and painted the front clip again. The headlight doors and hood are still on though. Tomorrow morning I'm going back in and putting it all back together and we're spraying the airbox tomorrow morning as well.
Hopefully my tires come in!

Sweet man!
Yeah i bought my Formula last January with 205k on the clock cheap and runs mint as an a4/2.73 car. Before it went on the road did a t56 swap, aluminum ds, rebuilt 4.10 rearend, umi lcas-phb-stb, borla catback, ram air hood, and a set of tt2's. Got a complete graphite leather interior swap, dvd deck/system, t/a hatch, and headers going on this year. All done myself so its really cool to see how you've done all your paint/prep dude i wish i could do that plus the facility you have! Insurance is a big thing out here for most of us and im just lucky i got an old beater as my dd to keep it down.
Keep up the good work

Man that looks good. I was able to tell from the pic it looked like the paint wasn't right on the front. I love that front clip though, were those only on the V6's?
Do you have any other threads with the progress of this car? I only know about this little step of the way

That makes me miss my old car SOOOO bad! Had a 97 Formula with WS6 Hood and TA Hatch.
BTW, those Billets on your car are making me think about selling the Fikse's and getting me some, but I just don't know if I can bring myself to do it!
