I also want to know the best way of removal! I think It will make my car look a lot cleaner! Serching hasnt turned much up. No writeups that I could find! Best I can think is use a heat gun and then use a eraser pad from like MR.clean followed by some light rubbing compound....?

Wait for warm weather and slowly peel them off.

When I did mine I went

1. Heat gun for 10 min up and down the molding
2. Start with small piece in front slowly moving left edge first
3. Start at left edge on biggest piece slowly pulling down and to the right
4. Clay bar to remove the small amount of dirt/junk underneath the molding
5. Quick wipe down with a cleaner
6. Wax where molding once was
7. Step back and admire

This might take a little longer than just ripping it off but you will save time not having to scrape the glue that stuck on there because it was cold.

I just starting pulling mine really slow, came right off with no problem, most of the goo came up with it, and didn't bother the paint at all, i did the side molding and removed my headrest all in about 20 min, easy mod i've done so far, go the excess goop up by rubbing it with my finger into a small ball and that was it, did harm the paint at all.

def use the heat gun and do like 1 foot sections at a time to keep the glue/tape warm where you are working...the warmer it is the easier the crap comes off...as for any left over glue heat it up and it should just roll up when you rub it...then use like goo-gone or something to get rid of any residue...followed by some wax and it'll good as new!
