Default Two Toned Interior??

Hey guys i need some pics of the two toned interior cars. I am going to be redoing my interior and im tossing around the idea of doing it. Also, any suggestions of what color combo's?

I was thinking maybe a grey/black or black/chrome.

I did mine a few months back, sorry for the old and shitty cell phone pics. I'll be taking new pics after I redo the door panels.

Vip that looks really nice, but I would say two things fwiw, after studying OEM BMW/Mercedes two tone interiors: You are just about at the complimentary color limit (I think our door panels are huge, so that's a lot of real estate), and your switches stick out as not going along with the theme. Darking those out would make a subtle but noticeable difference, I think.

I'll be very interested to see your interpretation of the overhead console if you do that addition. I have been thinking about adding a BMW homelink up there myself, but it's small and black to begin with.

It looks like you did a really good job on those panels.

My door panels are similar to VIP1's.. My door panels are gray plastic, with lighter gray leather (or vinyl?) inserts - the seats are covered in the same leather/vinyl as the door panel. Takes a while for people to notice it's not stock but it really makes the interior much more balanced and interesting. I'll take pics and edit this post later today.

They are the stock unmodified switches. I've seen what some others have tried... although ambitious and good attempts, the results weren't that great. I'm not sure what to do about them and honestly hadn't even thought about it until now.

I bought the stock overhead console for about $15-$20 (I forget the exact price). Its a little dirty and missing a few items (rear dome light cover, rotating map light, flash light). I still have to figure out what to do about those. It was kind of an impulse buy. Its a rare item I couldn't pass up. Also I have a little bit of a classic Knight Rider theme creeping in... look at the radio. With that in mind and trying to make it fit the overall theme, I'm going to modify it. I have some ideas, but I'm not exactly sure which direction to take. The console is about 2ft+ in length. I think I'll leave the rotating appointments wheels exactly as they are and add switches elsewhere. I think they are a cool throwback.

Here is what it looks like now:

BTW, that not my car.

Anyone know where I can get the missing parts cheap?

Some sharp interiors in here. I like the two toned with the pewter/grey insets. I'm also interested in the pricing on that.
