I have met a few others on here from pittsburgh area. I think there were 2 or 3 others that have PMed me about being from Pittsburgh. When the weather changes we should all meet up somewhere.

I've thought about covers for the area just behind the headlights but I'm afraid it will start looking something a Norstar V8 from a Caddy or something. I wonder if some detail from a bead roller or something along those lines would make it look a bit better.

bead rolling would definately be an option. They can add alot of style and function to a piece of sheetmetal.
yeah, im off middle rd. right behind eatnpark. Not too far from you. I was just up on mt.royal yesterday to go to the getgo. I got 93 there for 1.25 a gallon. With my fuel perks.

this much I know, but it's just a piece of plastic. To me that's just too boring. I'm thinking aluminum w/ some beads rolled or some other kind of accent could look better. It can also be more easily form fitted instead of a single flat piece.

i know 6litereater already sells the headlight area pieces. I dont know how much he sells them for, so I dont know if I would even be competition for him. My pieces would probably be more expensive. They would be either steel or aluminum and would all be hand made to custom order.

And I agree, we should meet!
(end of thread hijack)
Any chance you could fabricate a gps holder or mount maybe out of the flip out cup holder or something? Anything would be better than my windshield.

but i think covering the whole motor would be bad.
if you just do like the wire mod. and cover computer , battery, fuses, and big front whole it would make a difference.
if you want to do a FULL side cover. you might as well do somthing like the CTS-V had. where it covered all the stuff.

Eh, I'm not much for those covers, but I think if you have access to a CNC or something, some billet covers for the washer fluid cap, power steering cap, master cylinder cap, etc. would be nice since I don't think MBA makes them any more.
