Default Question about VHt

Hey guys i'm in the process of doing my taillights and I was wondering if most people taped off the reverse lights when they did the VHT. I haven't seen anyone talk about that in the write ups.

Do you tape just the light of everything from the light over the end?

Thanks

Thats what I did. Made, basically a ring of tape on the outside, and folded it over, then applied small pieces of tape to conceal everything. I did have a small bit go through on the outsides, don't know how though, but i got a bit of enamel reducer onto a paper towel and it came right off. Just take your time and make sure there are NO openings, and you'll be fine. Here's mine

Ya just tape around the light.

I like it better without the VHT on the reverse lights because it adds to the silver theme on cars. Your car looks good '02 Double U S-6.

Has anyone done it that way on Camaro tail lights?

I've seen them done to the Camaro lights, but only the LT1 style w/ the reverse in the upper left and right corners.

You don't want any of the white portion showing, if that's what you mean. While you may not spray it directly, overspray will definitely find its way onto there if you don't have it totally covered.

what i did was find the widest tape you can then lay it over the whole section then take a razor and cut around it. you can see an indention and then just push down the tape on the sides.
