sorry for neglecting you all

As it sits now, nothing really has changed on the car since i last posted. I've done a LITTLE tuning, but not much. i've been sidetracked with other projects, hobbies, favors for friends, and mostly working a lot of hours.

The current state of the car is like this:

It needs tuned
In order to tune it, i need to drive it
in order to drive it, i need to get it tagged
in order to get the tags, i have to get it inspected
in order to get it inspected i have to drive it (see 'tuning' above)
in order to drive it, i have to get it aligned
it order to get it aligned, i need to beat the rear fenders in a little so the new tires clear.
I haven't done that yet because it's really flipping cold in the garage most of the time and i've been busy as hell.

Fear not fellow 'techers, it will be done before spring hopefully and get the **** beat out of it regularly. i'm still wanting to take it to the east coast and have Frost dyno it and correct whatever i do wrong to the tune. Ive done some small tuning on other cars/trucks, but my car is a whole other animal and i'm using it to learn on.

Rest assured, if there are any developments, i'll post them up, but i really don't have any plans. i'd like to add a drag sway bar and get some shocks/springs for the back, but that's really the only things that may change. i might re-do the exhaust, but i kind of doubt i will. But like i said, i'll post pics when something happens. i'll definately take some shots when the car is clean and the wheels are polished.

Like I said earlier in the thread, I just really hope you're able to enjoy the car.

Man I say we take it out on some back county roads and do a little tunning... Also as far as beating in the inner wheel wells You can't do any worse than what the exhaust shop did to it before

yeah that's no joke, i spent an entire day trying to fix that stuff.

...i wish i would've just mini-tubbed it while it was apart, even if i left the rear end and wheel/tire combo the same as it is, it would've been nice to have the extra clearance "just in case"

I just read this whole thread, also... I second the brain burn..

Just...........words can't describe.. Just sick... I've been wanting to do a build like this for a long time, and for what I figure what you got into the car, is about what I've spent on mine in the past 8 years. Minus the engine, rear, wheels and the paint though. (Almost everything that sets yours apart from the rest.)

Can't wait for the videos bro. You had the same CF center scoop as my buddy did. I sent him a link to your thread.. Just top of the line part after top of the line part.

...and the exhaust does sound spectacular. I gave in to a little peer pressure when I unloaded it at the body shop and all my buddies demanded seeing the tires spin. i just rolled into it from a slow roll for a split second and it SANG...made everyone's hair stand up. A couple guys from nearby businesses came over drooling, they thought NASCAR was in town
No reason you shouldn't be...............Honestly........ I've see some pretty "thrown together" cars in magazines. Yours is right up there with the TT (97?) Camaro rebuild that Speed Inc did.

Exactly...

A narrowed rear and 335's would have been good also. But it's a little late for that.. (Don't mean to sound like an ***.)

And forgive me if this was asked, but is this just a mean street car? or a purpose built car meant to test the binder between layers of asphalt?
