Default Which Springs?

I have LT's but also want to drop my car. Which springs should I get that will still have a semi smooth ride, yet still look good and resist scraping my y-pipe over everything in sight. Is there anything I can do to the y-pipe to make it tuck up more? The headers tuck very nicely, it's just the y-pipe that hangs down. If anyone has any pics of the car and the header clearances, please post them.

Thanks
Ryan

The least drop will be with Hotchkiss and the
SLP Eibachs, both of these are nominally 3/4 -
1". Both seem to be popular & don't see people
complaining about ride or handling with either.

The way to get the tightest hang on exhaust is
to loosen the clamps / joints, put shims at every
close pass (bits of 1"x2" taped to the pipe would
ensure 3/4" clearances, something thinner if you
choose) and then put the floor jack to the low
point (more jacks = better) and jam it up to the
point of minimum clearance (seen by when you start
to lift the body) and then tighten up the joints.
Let it go, take out the shims, et voila!

Then go for a hard drive and see if you missed any
shoulda-shimmed spots....

Actually the BMRs lower your car the least. My Hotchkis springs have actually lowered my car more than an inch, but its perfect. Ryan, you know how my car,my dad's, and Hendrik's car sit so you make the decision if you want to join the club.

I was thinking the Hotchkis springs so that's probably what I'll go with. I guess I'll join the club. I've heard of the Pro-Kit riding kinda rough too.

How is the y-pipe clearance for those of you with Hooker LT's and the Hotchkis springs?

Any spring with a 1" or less advertised drop should work well.

Hotchkis look good, and I like my SLP Eibachs . . .
