Will these knobs light up red?? Trans Am interior

Will these ***** light up red?? Trans Am interior I bought these ***** from a 95-97 Grand Am. I like them b/c they have a better grip to them, rather than the stock ones.i know that pontiac interor is red.. I was noticing on the back of the ***** that there is no red film or anything to indicate that these will light up red. So what do you all think?

yea i believe the film is actually in or under the line itself, not at the shaft. Ours aren't on the shaft either if you look. All grand ams that i've been in have lit up red. What do you think that pontiac would put random white lights in the middle of a red interior? It would make since to me just put them in and see

The reason that i do not put them in my car now, is A) My mom is nice to let me store my car there for winter B) I have no battery in the car..
Thanks for your input, i thought they would lite up red. I tried to take a Mag falshlight to see but i got no luck
Those ***** really sucked for me. They barely held on, the plastic around where the metal sleeve is ended up breaking apart.. Maybe you'll have better luck than me with those. I can't tell you if they lit up or not because my HVAC controls are the older style where the ***** dont light up. I ended up switching to the Camaro ***** as well.

Ditto, that's where I got the idea as well.. Found them in the junkyard, so for all I know they could have been abused their whole life and were already about to fall apart before I got them. Just my luck..

I jsut won these on Ebay for $5. the reason i bought these is b/c the back already is red, when looking at the ***** in the first pic there is no red.
But like someone said the red film can be behind the line already. So we will see. I will put both of them on and see which one i like...

heres a few pics im swapping out my shifter thats why my centers off but the ***** light up white i have the headlight **** also but didint take a pic of it if you want it to light up red just color the clear part with a red sharpie
