lol....well unfortunately...this product was made in the late 90s. They were found in a warehouse in Canada by Daniel Stern. He purchased 50 of them, Susquehanna bought 200.....So when the 100 that they have left are gone.....Thats it. Bosch built these FOR GM back in the day to allow several car models to be exported. I know there are the eurolight housings out there, and those are being built today.

I have spoke directly with one of the other guys on here that has the eurolights (which btw he is planning on switching to the bosch setup) it seems these are a much higher quality setup. The eurolights have no water drains, and doesnt come with any gasket to cover the back of the housing to prevent water from comming in the back of the housing around the bulb. All of which these housings have.

I have nothing but great things to say about them as you can see..PM me if anyone needs more info.

Matt

is it just the time and work involved or is there some other reason to just not convert our existing sealed housing to accept new bulbs? would we get similar results to this?

Been there. Done that. Results not that great. Your mileage may vary. Check out the Lighting FAQ for more details.

Hey Matt, called Will yesterday, he's a great guy, but I ordered 4 housings from them, got them today.....There very nice.....The eurolight setup is junk compared to this setup, these Bosch housings are way better built then the Eurolight housings, these housings are def good quality

And for all those debating wheather to get this setup or the eurolights, well I have the eurolight setup on my car right now, I've actually gone through 2 sets of 4 housings....I've had nothing but problems with them, the housings are cheaply built, there is nothing to protect where the bulb goes in from the weather and they leak water and once the water is in there, it doesn't drain or dry up, u'll have to take the housings apart and drain it urself and that **** get's old....And if u let it go it will ruin the reflective material in the housings....The only thing that is nice about them is yes there 70 watt bulbs that they come with are bright

If your lookin for something that is cheaply built junk that will give u problems in the long run, buy the eurolight setup, ya it's def less $$$

But if your lookin for quality, something that's gonna last and something once u install it or not gonna have to worry about it, then spend the extra money and get the Bosch setup

In this world you get what you pay for, it sucks, but that's the way it is

I just tried to call and talk to Will about the price. When i first talked to them i was trying to get a discount for everyone on LS1tech. They have several clubs that they are affiliated with and give discounts to. However they dont want to put a discount code out there that is going to be posted on a site where any joe nobody is going to find and be able to use. However Will was at a doctors appt today when i called so i will call tomorrow. HOPEFULLY i will be able to get some kind of discount code that they will allow me to give out to members only.....kind of like the jacket. HE HE HE. I will do my best.

I am glad to see that SilverFalcon went ahead and got them. As you can see he has the eurolights and has switched over to these. BTW....i have absolutley nothing to do with Susquehanna......i live in NC and they are in PA...i just found them and wanted to pass this along to everyone who might be interested....I just dont want anyone thinkin i work for these guys or am making anything off of it....I just want better headlights for guys...PERIOD.

Lets hope i can get us a rebate.....

Now that I got this light kit I'd also like to replace my fog lights with a real ones that actually work instead of being just a decoration. Anyone know of a high quality replacement for our TA's?
The guy at susquehenna recommended the Hella Micro DE's but they're way smaller than our facory ones and wouldn't look good inho. Has anyone talked to Daniel Stern about this? Here's a link to my thread about this, so this one doesn't get hijacked:

lol.....If you read the start of this post...i talked to Daniel Stern. He has recommended some fogs to me...Also im not sure who you talked to at Susquehanna but they do have some fogs that are close in size to ours.

Daniel however recommended the Bosch Compact 100 fogs. These are spectacular fogs. they are 100mm diameter lights which is 4 inches, just like ours. They arent exactly cheap....$62/each. But it is a great light. You can get these lights directly from Daniel. If you want more info about this... Let me know.

Are they white or the same stock yellowy/white color? If they at least looked white I'd be interested (and if I didn't have HIDs already haha). Not to be picky but I absolutely hate the look of yellow halogen lights.

Well I ordered some today. They definately are not offering a discount to us. Appparently there was a miscommunication...

Anyways 419.00 plus shipping. I can't wait to see how they look!

BTW - they have less than 70 left.

I agree, but one of my biggest pet peeves is not enough lights at night. So it's worth it to me if they are what they are claimed to be.
