Thats the second horrific picture of a Trans Am I see recently. The other was of a C/E.

we've been talking about this one over on www.30th-ta.org This jackass wants $6K for it <img border="0" title="" alt="[Eek!]" src="gr_eek2.gif" /> The dash and console are shot, the 30th badge inside is gone ($275), the tailshaft on the tranny is broke, the motor has been pused up and back so bas the mounts are broken off. Every panel needs reair/replacement. It would easilty cost $6-7K to fix, and when it's all done, from a collectible standpoint, with a rebuilt title and non-original parts, be worth maybe $12K, breaking even at best! Nice parts car for maybe $4K. Wrecked non 30th 99 WS6s, usually rear, good hood, no wheere near this bad, go for like $4-5K here in FL. I guess mine just became slightly more valuable <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" /> That's like 7 or 8 confirmed 30ths gone <img border="0" title="" alt="[Mad]" src="gr_images/icons/mad.gif" />

I haven't been hanging out in junk yards lately but I was always amazed at what they asked for "totaled" cars.
