Default brake calipers

so even after hitting my calipers with a wire brush/sanding tools, and then cleaning with prep-all the paint just wont stick to them. This is frustrating the **** out of me. What do you guys use to take all the residue off? Do you use primer first?

My guess is that you are doing this in a unheated garage? You aren't supposed to paint under like 50 degrees.

Yea if the metal is too cold it won't allow the paint to set up properly.

If not having a clean surface is the problem try cleaning them with brake cleaner then laquer thinner.
