easy, pop the clip in front of the shifter ****, pull the shifter **** off, open the console compartment lid and u will notice 2 small hex screws holding the upper console on. remove the 2 small hex screws and lift the upper console (may have to move shifter backwards to make things easier). after upper console is removed, remove the 2 10mm bolts in the console compartment and there will be 1 10mm bolt underneath where the upper console was and 2 more 10mm and the very front of the console. set parking break to slide the parking break handle thru the slot on the console

put the key one click forward and throw it into first and pop the c clip (like a staple thing) on the shifter towards the engine. just use a small screw driver and pry it out (but dont lose it) and it will slide off.
